A few days ago, I started a new series here on my blog to show you the rooms of our new apartment in Luxembourg. This is the second on my Luxembourg apartment tour series.
We moved to Luxembourg over a year ago, and I have come a long way in making this space feel like our home. Today I’m showing you my beach-inspired workspace. This space is such a vibe and it makes me so happy!
↠ Sidenote: there’s a little glimpse at our bedroom! You can see that full tour here.
When we visited this apartment for the first time, I saw this space had a great potential to become my desk nook. It’s actually the corridor between our living room and the master bedroom with doors on each side. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better spot to create my workspace.
A Desk for Small Spaces
I looked long and hard for a corner desk and finally got this one from an online furniture store. I love how it looks in this spot. I wanted something that fits my aesthetic and also my space and it’s the perfect size.
My computer fits here perfectly and I still have extra room for a notebook to write things down so I am not struggling to write and type at the same time.
I came across the cutest little chair at Nei Aarbecht thrift store for two euros! Can you believe it! I love its vintage look, it adds a lot of depth and texture to this white space.
The Lennart drawer unit is from Ikea. It has enough space for different things like folders, important papers, etc.
Personal Touches & Decor
The bamboo grid is from Maison du Monde. I also added a plant and some accessories that give my workspace vacation- beachy vibes. I wanted a work area that makes me forget the gloomy weather of Luxembourg and I’m happy to sit here for long periods of time.
So that’s my little feel-good beach-inspired workspace! I hope this post gives you a few ideas for your own desk nook. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via Instagram.
