Welcome to a new stop on my Luxembourg apartment tour series. If you missed any of the previous room reveals, they are all saved under Travel-Inspired Decor in the main menu. Today I’m sharing the most beloved space in our home: my clutter-free, minimalist kitchen!
Creating A Clutter-Free Kitchen
When we moved to Luxembourg we did not have any furniture or household items, so we had to buy everything from scratch. I immediately started thinking of all the things I needed to find to fill the empty apartment. And since the kitchen is my happy space, I was really strategic about what I buy and how I utilize the space.
Luckily we moved into a brand-new apartment so the kitchen came with a functional design and modern appliances. I just needed to buy the essentials, add some decorative elements, and organize the space.
Organizing the Cabinets
I bought different size jars from Casa and Action to organize my baking supplies, pasta, spices…I also got labels on Etsy for the spice cabinet. I think that the real beautification of the spice cabinet came in with the labels!
Buying Equipment: Less Is More
The problem with open kitchens is that everything is on display, so having a neat and tidy kitchen is important! I really wanted to have a minimalist kitchen, so Instead of buying several household appliances and kitchen gadgets that take up a lot of room, I made the decision to invest in the multi-purpose kitchen appliance Companion, from Moulinex.
Sure, it might be costly, but it’s such a game-changer. Not only it’s a space-saving appliance, but it also makes cooking a lot more convenient, relaxing, creative, and way faster.
The Multipurpose cooking robot is not available in Luxembourg but you can buy it online and pick it up from the Boulanger shop in Thionville. I put the link below.

Using Natural Materials
When it comes to decor, I love to bring the outdoors in. So to achieve this look, I displayed some wooden kitchen tools. I also added a splash of green by decorating the kitchen with a few plants. For the kitchen island, we bought two wood and metal stools from an online store.
There you have it! I hope you enjoyed this Kitchen tour blog post. Thank you for stopping by. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me via Instagram.
