Welcome back this week for the continued tour of our Luxembourg apartment! And just in case you missed the other room tours, you can find them here. Today, I will show you around our zen bathroom and talking about how I achieved this simple yet functional decor. I will share with you my renter-friendly hacks in hopes that it will inspire you. And the best news: You won’t need to spend much money at all.
Creating an Affordable Zen Bathroom
I am not a huge fan of fully tiled bathrooms, but since my decorating options are limited by rental rules, I could only introduce colors and textures in subtle ways. I wanted to create a zen bathroom, so I chose natural materials to bring a touch of warmth and enhance the peaceful feeling. I also injected color via bath linen and some accessories.
To add storage options I bought two woven seagrass baskets to hide away all the towels and my hair care items – brushes, curling iron, hairdryer, etc. I also got jars from Ikea to keep cotton pads and swabs, as well as a natural wooden ladder to hang our bath towels.
I wanted a stool next to the shower to add a little flat surface that holds shower items. I got this one from Action. I really love it as I think that it brings some good vibes to the space! I just added a braided seagrass rug, some plants, candles, labeled shower bottles, woven bin, and the bathroom was complete!
Well, thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this little bathroom tour! Just a reminder that I have already shared other rooms in my Luxembourg apartment tour series.
